Western Oklahoma State College, established as Altus Junior College in 1926, is the oldest original municipal two-year college still in existence in Oklahoma. The WOSC Archives, established in 2013 and delivered by the Learning Resources Center, contains print, digitized and born-digital photographs, newspaper clippings, videos and ephemeral items from 1934 to today. The mission of the WOSC Archives is to document, preserve and make available Western Oklahoma State College's and the community of Altus Oklahoma's rich history.
